Tomato and Pepper update

They just grow and grow and grow.  I had to make a few adjustments just so all the plants could get water and light.  The first round of seeds I planted are doing too good and are really ready to be planted outside.  Just one problem, it’s too early for tomatoes and way too early for peppers.

I have dozens of tomato and pepper plants that are growing very well, I have room for about 4 tomato and several pepper plants in the garden.  If anyone wants to join in my experiment and plant a non-professionally started tomato (roma or beefsteak) or pepper (serrano, ceyenne or pablano) let me know.  A few have been spoken for but the rest (I have no exact number and can’t promise anything) will be available on a first come first serve basis.

Here’s what a few of the tomatoes look like.

And a ceyenne pepper that looks like this.

Keep in mind that it is probably close to a month before tomato plants can be put in the ground and another week on top of that for the peppers.  I’ll do my best to keep them in shape until they’re ready.

I still owe a storm chasing post.  Working on video editing, taking a few hours video down to the decent 30 seconds is taking longer than the actual chase did but there is one scene I do want to share.

Planted garlic (I know should have been done last fall) tonight.  Plan on doing a quick till and planting onions before Lost comes on tomorrow.  Potatoes are being planted on Wednesday.

That’s all for now.

Have fun with the garden. I’ll set aside a couple tomato plants just for you guys. Roma or Beefsteak or one of each?

Watermelon, and canteloupe are so much better fresh from the garden. Good luck and we’ll have to trade some Salsa later this year.
