Tomato and Pepper update

They just grow and grow and grow.  I had to make a few adjustments just so all the plants could get water and light.  The first round of seeds I planted are doing too good and are really ready to be planted outside.  Just one problem, it’s too early for tomatoes and way too early [...]

We are rapidly moving into Spring finally.  The garden has been tilled once.  Some of the early season plants (columbine, tulips, crocus, lillies) are starting to show some life and we are approaching the dates for the last freeze of the year.

Statistics Dump

As I sit here on the first day of Spring with a fresh 6” of snow on the ground I decided to review some stats for the first 4 winters that we have lived in this house.

1st sign of Spring

Hard to believe, but I noticed a couple tulips coming up yesterday.  South side of the house, sheltered from the wind and full sun.  However, it is still a sign that this freakin’ Winter is finally coming to an end.  However, it still doesn’t really feel like it.
