July weather stats.

July was hot.  It’s been hot since then as well.  It looks like it’s going to stay hot for a long time.  The End.

Better late than never

Here are the weather stats from June.

This was the hottest June we’ve had since moving here in March of 06.  The avg. temp for the month was 77 degrees.  The next hottest June was 06 at 75.2.  The highest temp was 92.6 on the 22nd and the coolest temp was 59.8 on the 6th.  Neither [...]

Last Freeze stats, and a couple bonus stats.

We are rapidly moving into Spring finally.  The garden has been tilled once.  Some of the early season plants (columbine, tulips, crocus, lillies) are starting to show some life and we are approaching the dates for the last freeze of the year.

As I sit here on the first day of Spring with a fresh 6” of snow on the ground I decided to review some stats for the first 4 winters that we have lived in this house.
