July was hot. It’s been hot since then as well. It looks like it’s going to stay hot for a long time. The End.
Ok, not really but it might as well be. I did dig up a few interesting weather facts for July. The average temp for the month of 78.6 was the second hottest July. [...] Here are the weather stats from June. This was the hottest June we’ve had since moving here in March of 06. The avg. temp for the month was 77 degrees. The next hottest June was 06 at 75.2. The highest temp was 92.6 on the 22nd and the coolest temp was 59.8 on the 6th. Neither [...] We are rapidly moving into Spring finally. The garden has been tilled once. Some of the early season plants (columbine, tulips, crocus, lillies) are starting to show some life and we are approaching the dates for the last freeze of the year. In the four Springs that we’ve lived here I only have reliable data for [...] As I sit here on the first day of Spring with a fresh 6” of snow on the ground I decided to review some stats for the first 4 winters that we have lived in this house. Not only does this feel like the worst winter we’ve had since we’ve lived here I’ve got the statistics [...] So as I’m up at Pigeon Hill Conservation Area I realize that I am outside, not in 4 layers of clothes and it’s actually quite comfortable.
